Data Center Infraestruture

The Data Center is located at FORUM 1 Santa Ana, Costa Rica. In 2017, the Data Center was certified under the ANSI/TIA-942 international standard for a Rating 3 Data Center level in operation and maintenance, guaranteeing availability of more than 99.982%.


Two electric redundant arms (active-active scheme), giving to each cabinet "rack" two different energy connections in order to provide high availability:
  • Commercial Power [120 VAC or 208 VAC] with two emergency diesel generators for continuous service with automatic transfers [1N+2]

  • Two three-phase 100kVA UPS redundant [2N + 1] providing to different PDU's per rack

  • Two independent Breakers of 20 or 30 Amps per cabinet or rack

  • Redundant precision cooling system [2N + 2]


Our network offers redundant equipment and routes to different Internet Services Providers, in order to ensure the highest availability:
  • Physical redundancy network core equipment, reaching every cabinet with two connections

  • Intelligent Routing Platform

  • Internet connectivity via Fiber Optics with physical redundancy link to differents ISP using our own IP's and ASN using BGP4 protocol interconnection

  • Own Public IP addresses (both IPv4 and IPv6) assigned by LACNIC and asigned VLAN for each individual client

  • Connection to Costa Rica IXP (Internet Exchange Point) of RACSA, ICE and CRIX

  • Structured CAT-6A cabling with redundancy to customer facilities

  • Internet facilities, telephone lines and dedicated pre wired with fiber optic and copper to the main telecommunications providers

  • Cross connection and direct connection to ISP's in Costa Rica

  • Access to Telco tower for wireless communications

Our staff is pending of:
  • 24x7x365 monitoring via IP of the humidity, temperature and energy

  • 24x7x365 NOC (Network Operations Center)

  • 24x7x365 Technical Staff on site


We offer as part of our service "with no additional cost" the following features:
  • Two stations Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse for setup and maintenance of your server

  • 24x7 Parking Facilities

  • Connectivity to local and international telecommunication networks

  • Access to MPLS, VPN's y and other networks of voice and data

  • Help customs clearance, payment of taxes on the import and installation of equipment for customers outside of Costa Rica


In addition we offer the different services, please consult with your advisor the additional costs of each one.
  • Firewall: equipment designed to block unauthorized access while permitting authorized communications

  • VPN: equipment that connects a private network point to point or point users

  • DDOS Protection: allow to lock the customer's network to external attack, just letting the real traffic

  • Power Reboot: equipment of maximum of 12 Amps for 8 plugs that allows to swith off and on plugs.

  • Remote console: equipment that allow to connect from Internet to your device using a console interface (RS-232 console or cisco)

  • Port monitoring: we can provide a Web panel where you can have access to the different sensors and their history using SMPP protocol

  • Outsite external backup storage: we can make a backup and put it on a safety place outsite of the Data Center

  • Remote Hands: customer can request physical actions. They are: turn off or turn on the devices, connect or disconnect a cable, change or rotate tape, USB key or other type of storage

  • Smart Eyes and Hands: support to restore basic connectivity and access to server. It does not include any configuration of device, operating system or database

  • Specialized Support: this service have to be schedule with a splecialist person to solve a particular incident of the customer
